His research interests lie in ethics, applied ethics, philosophy of biology and philosophy of science and technology. He published three monographs \u2013\u00a0<em>Evolucijska teorija i priroda morala<\/em>\u00a0(<em>Evolutionary Theory and the Nature of Morality<\/em>, 2007),\u00a0<em>Normativna etika<\/em>\u00a0(<em>Normative Ethics<\/em>, 2018) and\u00a0<em>Etika umjetne inteligencije<\/em>\u00a0(<em>Ethics of Artificial Intelligence<\/em>, 2022) \u2013 and a number of book chapters and articles in scholarly journals such as\u00a0<em>Journal of Medicine and Philosophy<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Ethical Perspectives<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Developing World Bioethics<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Medicine, Health Care and Philosophy<\/em>. He is the leader of the research project <a href=\"https:\/\/aiaj.ifzg.hr\"><em>Artificial Intelligence, Autonomy and Justice<\/em><\/a>, sponsored by the Croatian Science Foundation.
